Hey! So Glad You're Here.

Thank you for hanging out with us and coming along on this journey. I'm Enoque Carrancho and I want to share my life with you and all the stories of the past and present and what's in store in the future.

My wife, Bridget and I, have decided to embark on a new adventure to the land of my forefathers, Portugal. We are both South Africans who have lived in Canada for 20 years and are now looking for warmer pastures. We've decided to take a leap of faith into the unknown: we'll embrace a new culture, learn a new language, adopt the wisdom of those who've gone before us and attempt to make sense of an ever changing world.

We want to work from home, live more outdoors, build our own place and grow our own food and observe all the beauty around us. All the while, we'll be documenting as much of it as possible.

"Chase the sunrise" is all about new beginnings, about facing fears, overcoming obstacles and learning to be better every day and making the most of our creativity.
